“Corruption wins not more than honesty.”
WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

Anti-corruption

Recognising that corruption in developing countries diverts essential resources away from the poorest and most needy, we seek to utilise a wide array of programmatic interventions to combat it. In doing so, we bring expertise in political economy analysis (PEA), governance, voice and accountability, PFM, as well as justice and security to target systems, perpetrators, beneficiaries and their agents.

Afghanistan Anti-Corruption Justice Centre Design

Location: Kabul, Afghanistan

We identified and assessed options for the design, governance and management of a multi-donor funding mechanism to support ACJC; with the aim of enabling effective decision-making – to ensure that donors are better able to respond to the rapidly evolving needs of the ACJC.

What did our experts do?

Our experts engaged closely with stakeholders from both the Afghan State and the international community, to establish a pragmatic best-fit mechanism for the coordination and delivery of donor support to ACJC. This included providing a comprehensive ACJC cost model; covering core running costs and requirements for international mentors; and a prioritised list of outstanding one-off monetary contribution and capital investment needs. We also presented options and recommendations for the governance, administration, management and delivery of a joint donor support mechanism.
